Iran has launched fresh missile strikes targeting Israel’s western Dead Sea area in southern Israel, authorities said on Saturday.

In the past few hours, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) carried out the latest wave of missile and drone attacks on Israel and regional countries, including Saudi Arabia, after Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei ruled out any possibility of a ceasefire.

Fresh interceptions were reported over Saudi Arabia and US bases in Iraq.

Multiple explosions were heard in Tel Aviv, confirming interceptions and possible impacts on Israeli territory, while air-raid sirens sounded continuously in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

Israeli officials stated that Iran fired nine separate missile salvos throughout Friday. Combined with Hezbollah’s rocket barrages, these caused widespread damage across central and northern Israel.

Although most missiles were intercepted, debris fell over large areas, particularly from cluster munitions that release up to 80 submunitions before entering Israeli airspace.

While individual impacts and casualties remain limited, the effects are dispersed across wide regions.

One of the most notable incidents on Friday involved fragments landing in occupied East Jerusalem, approximately 350 metres from the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

The strike caused minimal casualties but raised concerns over potential damage to a highly sensitive religious site.

Meanwhile, Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has firmly ruled out a ceasefire until both the United States and Israel halt their attacks on Iran.

US President Donald Trump has so far remained largely silent on calls for a ceasefire or de-escalation with Tehran.
