Orange Maroc has signed a strategic partnership with Technopark Maroc (MITC) aimed at strengthening innovation and supporting the country’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem, with a focus on artificial intelligence.
The agreement, signed during GITEX Africa 2026, was formalised by Hind Lfal, Chief Business Officer at Orange Maroc, and Lamiae Benmakhlouf, Managing Director of Technopark Maroc.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to fostering innovation and accelerating Morocco’s digital transformation by empowering startups and emerging talent in the fields of data and artificial intelligence.
At the core of the partnership is the “AI Garden” programme, an initiative designed to support Moroccan startups by providing access to advanced technological capabilities, including cloud resources, connectivity, cybersecurity solutions, and practical business use cases.
Through this initiative, both organisations aim to create an enabling environment for startups to develop, test, and scale AI-driven solutions, contributing to the growth of Morocco’s digital economy.
The partnership underscores the increasing role of public-private collaboration in building a robust innovation ecosystem and positioning Morocco as a hub for AI and digital entrepreneurship in Africa.
