MC Tagwaye, the online comedian famous for his striking mimicry of former President Muhammadu Buhari, has officially joined the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
The party leadership unveiled MC Tagwaye, born Obinna Simon, on Wednesday, with Seriake Dickson, former Bayelsa governor, and Moses Cleopas, NDC national chairman, presenting him to other party members.
In a post on X, Dickson confirmed that MC Tagwaye, a former member of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), was received into the NDC alongside his supporters.
