“President Tinubu has rescheduled his three-nation trip to begin on Sunday, rather than Saturday as previously indicated,” he said.

No official reason was provided for the change in schedule.

Tinubu is expected to visit France, Kenya, and Rwanda during the trip.

The tour will begin in France before proceeding to Nairobi, Kenya.

The President is scheduled to attend the Africa-France Summit in Nairobi from May 11 to 12.

The summit, co-chaired by Emmanuel Macron and William Ruto, will focus on energy transition, digital transformation, and climate action.

According to the Presidency, the event will highlight Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with African nations and France.

After the Kenya engagement, Tinubu will travel to Kigali for the Africa CEO Forum scheduled for May 14 to 15.

The forum is organised in partnership with the International Finance Corporation and will bring together business leaders and policymakers.

The President is expected to deliver statements at both events, showcasing ongoing reforms aimed at positioning Nigeria as a top investment destination.

He will also hold meetings with global and African business leaders during the trip.

Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria after concluding his engagements in Rwanda, accompanied by ministers and senior government officials.
