SeerBit, a leading Pan-African payments company has integrated with Xero, a global small business platform to simplify how businesses across Africa get paid from invoices.

For many businesses, sending an invoice is straightforward but getting paid often requires a separate process. Payments are typically completed outside the invoicing system via bank transfers, mobile money or card payments, leaving finance teams to manually confirm receipt, match transactions and update records. In cross-border transactions, this process becomes even slower and more fragmented, delaying cash flow and increasing the risk of errors.

Through the integration, businesses using SeerBit and Xero on the continent can now embed a “Pay Now” option directly into invoices, allowing customers to complete payments instantly using local and international methods, including cards, bank transfers and mobile money.

Once a payment is made through SeerBit, the transaction is automatically recorded and reconciled within Xero in real time, with invoice status updated instantly and settlement details reflected within the system.

This effectively removes the gap between invoicing, payment and reconciliation. Additionally, it reduces the need to chase payments, improves visibility over cash flow, and streamlines financial reporting by ensuring transactions are captured accurately as they happen.

The integration also supports multi-currency transactions, enabling businesses to invoice and receive payments across different markets with fewer barriers related to conversion and settlement.
