The All Progressives Congress (APC) has fixed its presidential primary election for May 23, 2026, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Reliable reports gathered that the ruling party also dismissed reports suggesting that the exercise had been postponed.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, described reports circulating on social media and other platforms about changes to the timetable as false and misleading.
