MTN Zambia has launched Africa’s first 5G Penta Band Indoor Solution, marking a significant milestone in the country’s ongoing digital transformation journey.

The new solution is designed to improve indoor connectivity by addressing common coverage challenges in buildings such as offices, shopping malls, hospitals, hotels, and residential complexes. It is expected to deliver faster internet speeds, reduced latency, broader network coverage, and improved quality of service for users.

According to the company, the innovation supports Zambia’s broader digital transformation agenda under the 8th National Development Plan, with a focus on enabling smart infrastructure, economic growth, and technology-driven innovation across multiple sectors.
