Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has reacted strongly after claims surfaced suggesting that some individuals allegedly paid Judy Austin’s ex-husband, Emmaniel Obasi, to damage her reputation and that of her current husband, Yul Edochie.

The controversy follows a viral emotional statement attributed to Obasi, in which he expressed deep frustration over ongoing criticisms directed at him amid the public dispute involving Judy Austin and Yul Edochie.

In the statement, he insisted he has a right to share his side of the story and rejected calls for him to apologise before being allowed access to his children.

Reacting to the development, Rita Edochie condemned what she described as attempts to silence Obasi, arguing that he should not be ridiculed for speaking about his personal pain. She also criticised those supporting efforts to discredit him, accusing them of lacking empathy and fairness in their judgment.
