CSP Iniedu assumes Office as force PRO

The newly appointed Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force, CSP Anietie Okokon Edem Iniedu, has assured Nigerians of a new era of responsive, transparent, and citizen-centred policing.

Iniedu made the submission in a statement on Saturday following his confirmation as the Force Public Relations Officer.

He also assured that impunity will not be allowed by the Nigeria Police.

The new Force PRO extended an open invitation to members of the public, the media, and all stakeholders to engage constructively with his office in order to achieve a productive tenure built on accountability and results.

“On assuming office as the Force Public Relations Officer, I wish to reaffirm the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to a new era of responsive, transparent, and citizen centred policing. Crime and impunity remain our common enemy, and their defeat requires the active partnership of every Nigerian. I extend an open invitation to the public, the media, and all stakeholders to engage constructively with this office. I am grateful for the goodwill messages received and look forward to a productive tenure built on accountability and results,” Iniedu wrote.

The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed the appointment of CSP Anietie Okokon Edem Iniedu as the new Force Public Relations Officer.

A statement on Friday by the outgoing Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Anthony Placid, said the appointment was approved by the Inspector General of Police, Tunji Disu.

He described CSP Iniedu as a seasoned police officer with extensive experience in public communication, operational policing, intelligence management, institutional accountability, and administration.
