Cutix Plc, one of West Africa’s leading manufacturers of electrical and telecommunications cables, successfully concluded its participation at the 20th Africa International Housing Show (AIHS 2026), held at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, from the 13th to the 18th of July, 2026. The company captured major industry attention with its innovative electrical safety solutions.

Throughout the six-day exhibition, Cutix Plc engaged hundreds of local and international estate developers, engineering contractors, architects, and government officials. The company’s exhibition pavilion showcased its range of fire-resistant and high-durability power cables, drawing praise from building experts across the continent.

Cutix Plc highlighted its proprietary flame-retardant insulation technology. Engineered to combat the deadly threat of building fires, Cutix cables starve active flames of fuel, forcing them to extinguish naturally within 0 to 1 seconds while limiting flame spread to 250 millimetres. The display also featured the firm’s Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) low-voltage power cables and heat-treated annealed copper conductors, designed to maintain flexibility and eliminate snapping during installation.
