The summit, themed ‘Creativity, Culture and Nigeria’s Next Chapter’, is scheduled to hold on August 11, 2026, at Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja GRA, Lagos.

According to the organisers, the event will gather leaders from the creative industries, business, government, and technology sectors to explore how public-private partnerships can drive growth, job creation, and sustainable development.

Olumide Iyanda, publisher of QEDNG and convener of the summit, said the partner institutions share a common belief in the potential of Nigeria’s creative economy.

“We appreciate every organisation that has chosen to support the QEDNG Creative Powerhouse Summit,” he said.

“Some have provided sponsorship, while others are contributing through partnerships, media collaboration and logistics.

“Every contribution is important because it helps us create a platform where leaders from different sectors can have meaningful conversations about the future of Nigeria’s creative economy.”

Iyanda said sustained partnerships among policymakers, investors, business executives, and creatives remain vital to unlocking the sector’s potential.

FirstBank, NLNG, and Polaris Bank are returning for the second consecutive year, having supported the inaugural edition in 2025, the organisers said.

They also acknowledged media and logistics partners supporting the event, including Abelinis Limited, ID Africa, Integrated Digital Communications Limited (IDCL), and IBST Media.

According to the statement, Demola Aladekomo, the executive chairman of SmartCity Resorts Plc, will chair the event, while Ife Adebayo, national coordinator of the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises (iDICE) programme at the Bank of Industry, will deliver the keynote address.

Confirmed speakers for the summit include Joke Silva, Steve Babaeko, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori (Kiekie), Efe Omorogbe, Omotayo Inakoju, Yibo Koko, Olamide Okulaja, Anwuli Ojogwu, and Fisayo Fosudo.

Veteran broadcaster Gbenga Adeyinka will host the event, with Steve Ayorinde and Funke Treasure moderating the panel sessions.
