If I had married in 2011 or 2008, when I wanted to marry initially, I would have married someone abroad.

When I met my husband, even for our wedding, he could not afford it. I was the one that said, ‘Don’t worry, God will do it.’ We did what we could do. He couldn’t afford anything at that point in time. He had nothing. He was living inside Lungu in Suleja.
But today now, God has helped us. We have houses, not just a house, in Abuja but also outside Abuja, everywhere.
And God has been faithful in 15 years. One piece of advice I’ll give to the younger generation is, don’t marry a man because of what you’re seeing…”
