A Kaduna farmer, Flow Ginger, who has been lamenting over theft of produce from his farm, finally caught one of the suspects on Sunday.
According to him, the suspect, an elderly woman, had allegedly stolen corn, groundnut and yam, claiming she was driven by hunger.
He stated that the incident initially angered him, but his anger melted away once he heard her sad story.
The elderly woman explained that her children live far in the city and never visit or check on her.
She added that when she borrows a phone to call, they only make empty promises.
