Qualcomm and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) have formalised a strategic partnership focused on advancing research and innovation in 6G, Edge AI, physical AI and immersive technologies.

The agreement was signed during LEAP 2026, marking a new milestone in the growing collaboration between the technology company and the Saudi Arabian research university.

The partnership is aimed at bridging academic research and industry innovation to accelerate the development of emerging technologies and translate breakthrough research into real-world applications.
