Nollywood actress and filmmaker Ruth Kadiri has debunked reports claiming that she died, assuring her fans that she is alive, healthy and safe.
Kadiri addressed the rumours in a video after reports of her alleged death circulated on social media.
In a post on her Instagram page on Sunday, she was quoted as saying, “Please note that I am alive. I did not have any accident, and I am safe,” the actress said.
Kadiri also described the reports as false and urged her followers not to believe or circulate unverified information about her.
“I am alive and healthy,” she reassured fans.
The filmmaker further called on her fans to report social media pages spreading the false reports, in an effort to prevent the rumours from gaining wider attention.
The death hoax comes as Kadiri continues to promote her latest project, Once Upon a Village, which has been attracting attention across her digital platforms.
Kadiri recently released Episode 5 of the series on RuthKadiri247, featuring actors including Henrietta Ibekwe and Deza The Great.
The actress has built a strong digital audience through her film platforms, where she continues to release original Nollywood productions and behind-the-scenes content.
