Airtel Africa Foundation is supporting its second cohort of 20 first-year Ugandan students pursuing undergraduate degrees in technology-related fields.
The fellowship supports students studying disciplines including computer science, software engineering, Cyber Security, data science, and artificial intelligence, with the aim of helping young people build skills relevant to the digital economy.
The programme covers tuition, accommodation and academic materials, while also providing a stipend to help students meet essential academic expenses. The support is targeted at students from financially constrained backgrounds.
Through the fellowship, the Airtel Africa Foundation is expanding access to higher education for young Ugandans while supporting the development of technology and innovation skills needed for Uganda’s future digital workforce.
