Nigerian comedian and actor Julius Agwu has revealed that his penis stopped working after he underwent brain surgery in the United States in 2015.

Agwu stated this during a recent episode of the Beer Parlour Talk Show uploaded on Saturday, while discussing the effects of the surgery on his body, career and personal life

During the conversation, the host asked whether the brain condition or surgery had affected other parts of his body, including his sexual function.

Responding, Agwu said, “After I do am, prick no dey work again now. He no dey work.

Other guests on the programme, including Mr Patrick, explained to Agwu how a nerve involved in the procedure was connected to the brain, appearing to link the nerve damage to the effect he described.

The discussion focused on the part of the brain involved and how the nerve was connected to it.

Agwu underwent the surgery in 2015 after doctors discovered three tumours in his brain, with one reportedly the size of a golf ball.

The comedian has previously spoken publicly about his health battle and how the experience affected his life and career.

The latest revelation came towards the end of the Beer Parlour Talk Show episode, where Agwu opened up about a lesser-discussed effect of the surgery.

He also reflected on his contribution to Nigerian comedy, particularly his role in developing music comedy.

“Music comedy na me form am o, that is to tell you how my brain dey work,” he said.

Agwu then broke into tears while recounting his career and expressing his feelings of betrayal and abandonment.

“God wey I dey serve, anybody wey get hand for wetin happen to me. I go dey look. My friends deserted me. They stopped talking to me, many of them. It is well,” he said.

The comedian has remained a prominent figure in Nigeria’s comedy scene, known for combining music and comedy in his performances and for his work in Nollywood.
