Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Katsina State on a working visit.
During the visit, the Vice President is expected to perform several official engagements, including the flag-off of the Community Investment Fund Disbursement under the Nigeria for Women Programme Scale-Up Project.
The programme will provide direct financial empowerment to more than 57,000 women across Katsina State, with beneficiaries drawn from Katsina, Daura and Funtua Local Government Areas.
The initiative is aimed at supporting women-owned businesses, improving household incomes and promoting economic self-reliance among women in the state.
