Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has approved the appointment of Dr Suebu Lamidi and Mr Abayomi Salako as Provost and Registrar, respectively, of the Oyo State College of Education, Lanlate.
Their appointments were announced in a statement issued on Thursday in Ibadan by the state Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Mr Dotun Oyelade.
According to the statement, the governor equally approved the appointment of Dr Musbau Yusuf as the college’s deputy provost.
The statement quoted Makinde as charging the newly appointed principal officers to further strengthen the institution’s administration, academic standards and overall development with their wealth of experience and expertise.
The governor congratulated the newly appointed officers and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by contributing meaningfully to the growth and development of the college.
