Vice President Kashim Shettima has departed Addis Ababa for Abuja after attending the Nigeria–Ethiopia Nutrition Leadership Exchange Forum.

themomentng reports that the forum held from Oct. 7 to 9, with the theme “Moving the Needle on Nutrition.”

Nkwocha explained that the discourse focused on nutrition, agriculture, early childhood development, technology, financing and subnational delivery.

He added that the visit provided opportunities for Nigeria and Ethiopia to deepen cooperation and share practical lessons on improving nutrition outcomes and strengthened agricultural value chains.

This, according to him, is with a view to accelerating implementation at state, local government and community levels.

”During the visit, Shettima held a bilateral meeting with Ethiopia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Temesgen Tiruneh, where both leaders reviewed bilateral relations.

“They also explored opportunities for deeper cooperation in agriculture, trade, investment, food security, aviation, and other areas of mutual interest.

“Shettima emphasized the value of African countries learning from one another,” he said.
