According to her, the Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX) WKND 2026 has brought together African creatives and entrepreneurs to showcase their innovations and promote business opportunities.

“The initiative is a valuable platform for promoting African creativity and entrepreneurship.

“It also brings together artistes, entrepreneurs, creatives and designers, providing opportunities for them to showcase their products and innovations.

“The platform enables African creatives to demonstrate their capabilities and present their works to international audiences,” she said.

Kadigiri said that such opportunities would help promote African artistic talent and strengthen the continent’s creative economy.

She said Rwanda government delegate attended the event to explore the creative industry’s potential and learn from the innovations showcased by participants.

She added that Rwandan artistes and designers were also participating in the event to exchange ideas and gain valuable experiences.

The RwandAir regional commercial manager said the airline hoped to take lessons from the event back to Rwanda and adapt them to promote local creativity and innovation.

Both countries signed a Roadmap for the Nigeria-East/Southern African air cargo corridor.

She said that the partnership between Nigeria government and Rwanda would improve market access for Nigerian products across African countries.

“The partnership will also strengthen African trade, promote competitive exports and create wider market opportunities for Nigerian businesses.

“The agreement will enable Nigerian businesses to export their products at more competitive rates across RwandAir’s Eastern and Southern African corridors,” she said.

Kadigiri listed Nairobi, Kigali, Johannesburg, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Lusaka among destinations where businesses could benefit from discounted rates.
She said the arrangement would make Nigerian products more accessible to international markets and strengthen their competitiveness.

She noted that the agreement would enable Nigerian businesses to export their products at more competitive rates across RwandAir’s Eastern and Southern African corridors.

According to her, the agreement will enable Nigerian products to gain visibility and compete favourably in other African countries.

She said the partnership would also promote African unity by creating opportunities for businesses to expand beyond their domestic markets.

Kadigiri said RwandAir was pleased with the agreement, particularly as the airline had operated in Nigeria for 15 years.

She said the partnership reaffirmed the airline’s commitment to remaining in the Nigerian market and expanding its operations.
