The Chief Executive Officer of Innoson Group, Mr. Innocent Chukwuma has disclosed that he spends not less than 40 million naira monthly on electricity bill and also buys diesel for his generators to power his vehicle manufacturing factory.
He said this while fielding questions on News Night, a Channels TV current Affairs program.
Mr Chukwuma revealed that manufacturers are charged higher electricity tariiff by the government and wondered why they are being made to pay higher bills. He also disclosed that he prefers Nigeria to work for everyone instead of breaking up.
“If you mention Biafra, every Igbo man will react. I don’t want Nigeria to divide. I want us to work together and build Nigeria. It is better we remain together as a country than break up,” Innoson said.
