Viewers and fans have had 6 episodes to watch young men and women slug it out not just to prove their dance floor superiority but for a chance to win the mega millions at stake.

The 6th episode which focused on the Semi-finals of the Afro dance category aired on Saturday, March 12 on Glo TV, the company’s streaming app with repeat broadcast slated for African Magic Urban, Sunday 3-4 p.m.; NTA, Sunday 8-9 p.m.; AIT, Tuesday 9-10 p.m.; African Magic Family, Tuesday 10-11 p.m.; African Magic Showcase, Tuesday 5-6 p.m.

It was fire from the get-go as David tried to topple Angela in Abuja but she proved a formidable enough goliath to take the day with her energy and infectious stage presence.

Favour Andrews went up against Sammi Yaki in Benin and the odds were in his favor as he defeated his opponent to book a place in the finals against Alekey.

Fynest was confident about a victory before his battle against Izzy Twist in Kaduna so much so that he told the audience to expect “the finest moves because I am bringing my creativity, my energy, and my personality.” But there was a twist in the tale as Izzy Twist ended up prevailing and booking a place against Afro Bum in the finals.

Young Mike had a unique opportunity to show his parents that dance “na the main thing” for him but Benjamin proved a hard nut to crack for the South African returnee.

In Port Harcourt, fans were wowed as ladies emerged giant killers. Teni Kodak was so sizzling hot she arrested the progress of her opponent Progress Dance while the ever-smiling Joy made quick work of Dance Willy to set up an all-female final next week.

DC Vorious took us all the way to church again before doing battle against Geazy whom he defeated with a blend of amazing leg work and goofy audience interaction but it was Richie who showed total mastery of the genre sending Wavy home with what might have been no more than a wave of the hand.

If you think Episode 6 was hot, the judges and host say Episode 7 will take things several notches higher, and don’t forget to send your dance videos for a chance to win N50,000 weekly in the BOTY Fans’ challenge. Last week’s 4 lucky winners were – Prudence Adams – @pruddy_adams; Israel Adekolu – @israel_mna; John Uzoma Great – @mahcJohn and Yayio Boniface Betty- @_betty.butter_
