In true Lagos style, they will be serving up all the high fashion, luxury, drama, and power moves that the franchise is known and loved for globally.

Speaking about the show’s premiere, Candice Fangueiro, Head of Content: Showmax Africa, said: “We are really excited about the viewers finally getting to see this amazing show we’ve been working on for so many months. The women have shared what their lives are truly like beyond what their fans and followers will typically see on social media. The show will take each viewer on an emotional rollercoaster as they get immersed in the lives of the women, their relationships and their different journeys. Fans of the show in the United Kingdom will be able to stream the reality show exclusively on Showmax.”

RHOLagos will be the first Nigerian instalment of the award-winning franchise, which is distributed internationally by NBCUniversal Formats, part of Universal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group. It also marks the 16th international version of The Real Housewives format and the third African adaptation, following the success of The Real Housewives of Johannesburg and Durban on Showmax.

If the trailers and conversations on social media around the show are anything to go by, RHOLagos will be a drama-fest worthy of being called one of the most remarkable reality series the country has ever seen. Fans have gone agog on social media with excitement about the show, but they’ll finally be able to see it when it drops exclusively on Showmax this Friday at 7 am WAT.
