2023: Frederick Leonard, Zubby Michael back Peter Obi for president

Zubby Michael and Frederick Leonard, the Nigerian actors, have endorsed Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for the 2023 election.

The actors announced their support for the former governor of Anambra via their individual Instagram pages.

Michael shared a picture of Obi and described him as “the man for the job”.

On his part, Leonard declared himself as an “Obidient”.

He also said he will always give his “unwavering support” to Obi whether he wins the election or not.

“This is where I stand for the 2023 presidential elections. I shall continue to give my unwavering support for Peter Obi and the Labour Party. Win or win, I remain Obidient,” he wrote.

This further stretches the list of celebrities that have shown their support for Obi.

Charly Boy recently endorsed Obi as his presidential candidate for 2023. He also promised to stage the “biggest ever rally” to support him before the end of the month.

Peter and Paul Okoye of Psquare also declared their support for the former governor.
