The 3rd episode of Showmax’s original limited drama series, Diiche was a lot. This episode had so much going on to keep one hooked till the end of the episode.

From Nnamdi’s mother inviting Diiche to the house and practically ambushing her into Nnamdi’s room, to what looks like the rebirth of Diiche into another character, episode 3 left us with a lot of questions.

The episode started with Jimi taken to the Police Station in handcuffs. A consequence of his running away from the police in the last episode. At the station, he meets Diiche who was concerned about him being there and went on to ask Inspector Kazeem. This got the Inspector wondering about their mutual concern for each other, as Jimi had also asked about Diiche being there. The viewers are probably wondering what’s going on with those two as well.

Jimi getting arrested made Nnamdi’s Mother and Sister very sad as they did not want to believe he would kill his best friend who was like a brother to him. Following the arrest, Nnamdi’s mum and sister made a call to Diiche to apologize for falsely accusing her of killing Nnamdi and invited them to the house to meet her intended “inlaws”.

However, things take a different turn when Nnamdi’s mum locks her in the room with a dibia, who tries to enchant her. It gets more interesting as Diiche summons something powerful within her and scared the life out of everyone, including the Dibia, who seemed like he had lost his voice on his way out.

In retrospect, there might just be more to Diiche’s constant strong headaches and voices in her head.

Amid all the chaos, the opening of cans of worms and evoking of spirit going on, the big question remains; Who Killed Nnamdi? Also, is there any chance, this supernatural power of Diiche has anything to do with his death?

We are getting closer to solving this mystery on the 4th episode of Diiche dropping next Thursday on Showmax.
