There’s good news for international fans of the hit Showmax reality show The Real Housewives of Lagos. Hayu, NBCUniversal’s all-reality SVOD streaming service, will be streaming the second season of the Nigerian series across all 45 Hayu markets, including fans and the diaspora in the United Kingdom.
Starting from December 1, the first several episodes of Season 2 of the hit Showmax series will be available on Hayu; the remaining four episodes of the season will drop on Hayu weekly thereafter (following their Showmax debut each Friday.)
With Hayu available in 45 territories outside the US and Showmax available in 44 African markets, all the action, drama and entertainment of The Real Housewives of Lagos will be available to a combined 89 countries across the world.

Having premiered exclusively on Showmax on September 29, The Real Housewives of Lagos – Season 2 debut set new first-day streaming records on Showmax in Nigeria, beating out Season 1 to claim the top spot as the most-watched Original on day one of its local release.
Set in one of Africa’s most cosmopolitan cities, The Real Housewives of Lagos gives fans an entertaining peek into the lives of some of the city’s most affluent and influential women, showcasing their extravagant lifestyles while navigating the intricacies of their high-society circles.
Produced by Livespot 360, this season sees fashion entrepreneur Tania Omotayo and former model Faith Morey join the original cast, which includes popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo plus celebrity designer and stylist Toyin Lawani Adebayo. Rounding off the list of accomplished socialites are businesswomen Chioma Ikokwu, Laura Ikeji-Kanu and Mariam Timmer.
The show’s success has made it an attractive export as fans of The Real Housewives franchise look for new international versions of the show. There are currently 25 international versions of The Real Housewives including in Australia, The Netherlands and the UK. NBCUniversal Formats, which is part of Universal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group, distributes The Real Housewives globally.
