Joseph Aloba, father of the late singer Mohbad, says his life has significantly improved since the death of his son.

Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, and was buried the following day. However, on September 21, 2023, his body was exhumed by the police for an autopsy.

Aloba, in a recent interview with Akin Abolade, the media personality, attributed the positive changes in his life to “divine intervention” and the “spirit of Mohbad”.

When asked if his life has improved since Mohbad’s passing, the singer’s father said, “Yes”.

Aloba revealed that he received numerous gifts from well-wishers, including a car. He also disclosed that he has released about nine tracks since Mohbad’s death.

Aloba alleged that Mohbad’s wife Omowunmi and her family hindered the singer from fully supporting him during his lifetime.

“Let me just say yes because Mohbad is my friend. He had plans to do a lot of things for me but they did not allow him to perform his duties to my own life,” he said.

“After his death, I know it is the spirit of Mohbad and the spirit of God combined together that began to send people to assist me.

“Even the car that I’m using, someone gave it to me. All what I’m using now, people are just dashing me and it’s beyond ordinary.

“I can’t just say it’s because of my power, but it’s the spirit of Mohbad and the spirit of God that led those people to give me all what they’ve given me.

“With what I have experienced now, his wife is one of the people that didn’t let Mohbad fulfill his responsibilities in my life.”

Aloba has been vocal about his demands for justice, calling for the police to probe Omowunmi and for a DNA test to be conducted on their son Liam.

Omowunmi, however, has accused her father-in-law of avoiding a DNA test.
