President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has given Nigeria’s Super Falcons players a whooping $100,000 and three-bedroom apartments each on their return from Morocco.
This is coming after they won the WAFCON tournament after defeating host, Morocco, in a very surprising comeback.
President Tinubu had congratulated them via a video call and mentioned that he would be expecting them at the Presidential Villa when they return.
In a statement by the president’s spokesperson, Dada Oluwasegun, the prize given to them by the president was unveiled.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu confers National Honours of Officer of Order of Niger and 3 bedroom apartments each and a cash award of $100,000 each to the 24 players and $50,000 each technical team for all the members of the Technical Committee”
