Police recover stolen Toyota Hilux, arrest suspect in Kano

The Police Command in Kano State, has recovered a suspected stolen Toyota Hilux and arrested a 35-year-old female suspect in connection with the crime.

This is contained in a statement by the command spokesperson SP Abdullahi Kiyawa in Kano on Thursday.

Kiyawa said the vehicle, with registration number GWA 998 AR, was stolen from Ikeja Road, Fagge Local Government Area, on Sept. 29.

He explained that the suspect was apprehended along the Airport Road, in the Nassarawa Local Government Area, while attempting to conceal the vehicle en route to Niger Republic.

He said the police were intensifying efforts to track down the male suspect who Allegedly supplied the vehicle to the arrested suspect.

The command commended the officers involved in the operation and appreciated the public for their support, urging residents to continue reporting suspicious activities to the Police.
