Famous singer Niniola Apata has addressed speculations of being secretly married.
There were rumours that the ‘Maradona’ crooner’s absence from the spotlight was due to marriage.
Addressing the rumours in a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos, Niniola clarified that she isn’t yet married.
She debunked the speculations that she was keeping her marriage secret for it not to affect her career or bookings.
The 38-year-old said, “I don’t care whatever anyone does or says [regarding my personal life]. After all, I’m not a 12-year-old. I’m old enough to say whatever it is I want to say with my full chest. I’m not married.”
On why she is yet to collaborate with her younger sister, singer Teni, Niniola said it has to happen at the right time and under the right circumstances.
She emphasised that music is business, adding that there’s no family in business.
