The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released its official timetable for nationwide congresses and other key activities ahead of its 2026 National Convention.
According to the schedule made public by the party’s leadership, ward, local government, and state congresses will be conducted across the country in December 2025 as part of the preparations for the national convention slated for March 25, 2026.
The timetable also includes other major dates leading up to the event. The announcement of the date and venue for the National Delegates Conference is set for August 16, 2025, while the conference agenda will be published on January 15, 2026.
The delegates list for the conference will be released on January 17, 2026, with the deadline for objections fixed for January 24, 2026, and the final decision on objections to be made by February 1, 2026.
The National Delegates Conference is scheduled to hold from February 17 to 19, 2026, leading up to the main National Convention on March 25, 2026.
The APC noted that the phased activities are designed to ensure a transparent and well-coordinated process from the grassroots to the national level ahead of the convention.
