Manchester United’s October revival has been recognised in style, with Bryan Mbeumo named Premier League Player of the Month and manager Ruben Amorim taking home the Manager of the Month award.
Bryan Mbeumo, who arrived from Brentford over the summer, produced a string of standout performances that helped United secure three straight league wins.
The Cameroon forward delivered an assist in the 2-0 victory against Sunderland, opened the scoring in the thrilling 2-1 win at Liverpool, and struck twice at Old Trafford as United brushed aside Brighton.
“It’s been a really special month for me and for the team,” Mbeumo told the club’s media. “The hard work is paying off, and I’m proud to help the team keep improving every week.”
The 26-year-old edged out an impressive list of nominees, including Erling Haaland, Bruno Guimarães, Matty Cash, Igor Thiago, Nordi Mukiele, Eli Junior Kroupi and Jurrien Timber. This marks the first time Mbeumo has won the Premier League’s monthly honour, making him only the second Cameroonian ever to do so after Joel Matip in 2022.
Amorim’s award capped off a perfect month for the Red Devils. The Portuguese coach masterminded a trio of league victories, including United’s first away win at Anfield in nearly ten years. His side’s renewed energy and discipline have pushed them up to eighth in the Premier League, just a point behind fourth-placed Sunderland.

“Consistency has been key,” Amorim said after receiving his award. “The players have shown great belief in what we’re building here, and I’m very proud of how far we’ve come.”
United will look to continue their strong run when they face Tottenham Hotspur this weekend, as Amorim’s side aims to edge even closer to the top four.
