According to Daily Post, findings indicate that Ezeah, who was earlier treated in Germany, passed on Tuesday in the United Kingdom while receiving treatment.

Similarly, a popular on-air media personality, ‘Senator’ Chijinkem Ugwuanyi, also confirmed the demise in a post via Facebook.

He wrote, “Sad News. Senator Okey Ezea, representing Enugu North, is dead… Rest in Peace.”

Meanwhile, the lawmaker representing Kogi Central senatorial district, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of her colleague, Senator Okey.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday morning, Akpoti described the late lawmaker as a compassionate and thoughtful colleague whose presence in the Senate will be sorely missed.

In her emotional tribute, the Kogi lawmaker recalled Senator Ezea’s support during her difficult moments, noting that his kindness left a lasting impact.

She wrote, “Rest in peace, Distinguished Senator Okey Ezea. You were a good man! Wise and gentle.

“Your prayers kept me going through my darkest moments, and I will miss you in chambers.”
