In a recent video post on YouTube, in a firm stand against his potential expulsion, Wike has made it clear that he will not be fôrced out of the PDP by what he considers to be internal adversaries.

His declaration, “people who met me in my house do not drive me out, I will never allow that,” encapsulates his defiance.

Wike’s position is that he is a foundational member of the party, and therefore, newer members, regardless of their current standing, do not have the moral or political right to expel him.

He views the attempt to remove him as an affront to his contributions and a move that would be detrîmental to the party’s stability.

The ongoing power struggle within the PDP has seen various factions attempting to assert their dominance, and Wike’s statement is a direct challenge to those seeking his removal.

He has vowed to remain within the party to counteract those he believes are working against its core interests, reinforcing his identity as a stalwart of the PDP who will not be easily displaced.
