The Super Eagles will begin their preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations with their first official training session on Monday in the Cairo International Stadium’s main bowl.
The session, according to the team’s media officer, Promise Efoghe, will begin at 8 p.m. local time on Monday.
Eleven players are now at the team’s headquarters, the Renaissance Hotel in Cairo.
12 more players are expected to arrive before tonight’s training.
The camp officially opened on Sunday with Francis Uzoho, Stanley Nwabali, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Ebenezer Akinsanmiro among the early arrivals.
Nigeria will take on the Pharaohs of Egypt in a Pre-AFCON friendly on Tuesday.
They will fly to Morocco after the game to continue their preparation for the competition.
