Manchester City striker Erling Haaland brought festive cheer to young fans across Manchester by dressing up as Santa Claus and delivering surprise gifts to their homes.
The 25-year-old Norwegian forward, known for his prolific goal-scoring, transformed into Father Christmas for the latest episode on his YouTube channel, released on December 16, 2025.
With the help of a makeup artist, Haaland donned a full Santa outfit complete with a bushy white beard, eyebrows, rosy cheeks, and a stuffed pillow for the iconic belly.
Haaland visited three families in the Manchester area, knocking on doors undercover and handing out presents.
He admitted feeling nervous before the first visit, comparing it to pre-match jitters.
In one memorable moment, when a child revealed they supported rivals Manchester United, Haaland-as-Santa quipped, “He’s on the naughty list.”
At other homes, excited kids named him and teammate Phil Foden as their favorites, leading to photos and joyful reveals of his identity.
The stunt follows Haaland’s Halloween prank earlier this year, where he dressed as the Joker.
In the video, he expressed his love for Christmas, calling it a time for “cosiness” with family and friends.
On the pitch, Haaland has enjoyed a strong return to form this season after injury challenges in 2024-25, netting 23 goals in 22 appearances across all competitions.
The video, titled “I Went Undercover as Santa In the Streets of Manchester!”, quickly went viral, delighting fans with the star’s off-field personality.
