I am Emeka Mba. I am here to oppose the motion which says that our leader will soon join the APC. I hope to convince you with the following points of mine.
1. Our leader has built his post-2023 politics, around the fact that he has never decamped from PDP. He has also described APC as a cancer in the past. Shame no go gree our leader to collect APC card.
2. Our leaders whole relevance with the current govt is dependent on his continued battle with PDP, and he is determined to pursue that battle to a logical conclusion to continue earning his keep. He cannot abandon this battle half way.
3. Our leader has an agenda to forcefully take over PDP, transform it into his own party ,built in his image , and then use it to launch his future political plans
4. APC is already saturated with very powerful Governor’s who will not tolerate our leader and his excesses. Those Governors will not share power with an ordinary Minister.
5. Our leader derives his powers from APC , and so can’t fight anybody in APC, and like we know , our leader does not like any environment where there is nobody to fight , and where he doesn’t call the shot or seen to be calling the shots.
With this few points of mine, I hope I have been able to convince you, without confusing you, that our leader cannot join APC.
