Presidential hopeful, Peter Obi, says he can turn the country around, adding that he is better prepared to lead ahead of the 2027 elections.

While fielding questions from a cross-section of Nigerians during an interactive X Space engagement on Monday, Obi said he has more experience than any candidate, including the current President Bola Tinubu.

“I know how to turn Nigeria around. I built my business from scratch and have more experience than any candidate, including the sitting President.

“I’m a finance person. I know how to manage finance,” the former Anambra Governor stated.

Obi further said small businesses and manufacturers would thrive under his administration because he would prioritise growing them.

He also dismissed claims that he would be joining the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to be a running mate to a presidential contender.

“I will be on the ballot in 2027. None of us can predict tomorrow. Let us enter the coalition with an open mind. We can’t solve the problems of Nigeria by bullying. We can solve it with putting the right people to manage our affairs.

“Tomorrow is dynamic; we are going to work with other people in the coalition,” Obi said.
