The post included an image styled like a Wikipedia entry, showing him as both the 45th and 47th President of the United States and now in charge of Venezuela starting January 2026.

The image also displayed his official portrait and the name of his U.S. vice president, JD Vance.

This declaration came after Trump previously said the United States would oversee Venezuela until a stable and proper leadership transition could take place.

He described the move as a way to maintain order in the country and manage its resources, particularly oil, in a manner that would benefit both Venezuela and the United States.

Trump’s post outlined plans to bring between 30 and 50 million barrels of Venezuelan oil under U.S. control for sale in international markets.

The announcement also included a warning to Cuba, suggesting that Havana should cooperate with the United States or risk losing access to Venezuelan oil supplies, a key source of support for the island nation.

In other news, United States President Donald Trump has warned that the US could launch additional military strikes in Nigeria if attacks on Christians continue.

themomentng reports that he revealed this in an interview with New York Times.

His comments follows a US military operation on Christmas Day targeting Islamic State militants in northwest Nigeria, reportedly conducted at the request of the Nigerian government.

Trump indicated that while he hopes the strike would be a one-time action, further operations could follow if violence against Christians persists.
