When asked if she deliberately went into salons to collect people’s hair, the woman answered in the affirmative. She further disclosed that the hair was sold to internet fraudsters, although she did not explain what it was used for.

According to her, payments for the hair varied, depending on the buyer. “At times ₦2,000, at times ₦3,000,” she said, referring to the amount she received per collection.

The revelation has sparked concern on social media, with many Nigerians expressing fears over the possible rit¥al or criminal use of human hair and calling on security agencies to investigate the individuals involved.

As of the time of reporting, authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the incident or confirm whether arrests have been made beyond the interrogation shown in the video.
