Keystone Bank says it has partnered with Mediatent Nigeria Limited to sponsor ‘Adventures of a Nigerian Dude’, a mini web series.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday, Izore Bamawo, acting head, marketing and corporate communications of the bank, said the sponsorship aligns with the bank’s commitment towards youth development and entrepreneurship.
“Keystone Bank is committed to ensuring that youth and entrepreneurship development is at the forefront of our CSR drive as the importance of these sectors cannot be over-emphasised,” she said.
“At Keystone Bank, we are always willing to partner with organisations that are committed towards the development of the youth, especially in the communities where we operate.”
On his part, Chinyere Fred-Adegbulugbe, chief operating officer of Mediatent, said the company is excited by the benefits the partnership would bring.
The mini web series is based on the story of a streetwise young Nigerian graduate, who decides to use his knowledge, creativity, and talent to create employment for himself and other young people around him.
Though the dude is highly misunderstood by his parents and peers, he is determined to prove to all that there are many positive and productive pathways to success, especially using technology and the opportunities created by the financial services sector.
The series tells the story of resilience, ingenuity, and entrepreneurship of the average Nigerian graduate.
It also highlights the value and importance of innovation, as well as the value of technology in building a sustainable economy in today’s world.
It will project the value of innovation and technology and position the bank as a Nigerian commercial bank of choice among young aspirationals, entrepreneurs, small MSMEs and discerning investors.
‘Adventures of a Nigerian Dude’ will run from April for a period of 13 weeks in the pilot phase. It will be viewed on a dedicated YouTube channel and all social media platforms for the said period.
