BREAKING: Chief of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru dies in plane crash

Multiple reports said a military plane carrying the Chief of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru, to Kaduna has crashed.

There are at least six other unidentified senior officers in the training plane, which crashed about 6pm today at Kaduna Airport.

Reports said there was no survivor in the crash.

The plane reportedly crashed at the runway, while trying to land, amid heavy rainfall.
