- Picks Yousef as deputy
Peace has emerged as the first head of house (HoH) for the ongoing Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) ‘Shine Ya Eye’ edition.
The 26-year-old entrepreneur, who won a challenge over the other 21 housemates, also picked Yousef, a 29-year-old teacher and model, as her deputy.
Both housemates will get to enjoy the luxury of the tastefully furnished head of house bedroom for a week.
To clinch the HoH title, housemates were asked to play a dice game where they had 90 seconds each to take steps on the mat towards the box that has a symbol of an eye – representing Big Brother.
To start the game, each contestant had to roll a ‘6’ on the dice to move, to which many of the housemates including Liquorose, Yerins, Cross and Saskay struggled before throwing the lucky number.
Meanwhile, Biggie allowed for unrestricted visitation to the head of house lounge but warned that visitation does not involve spending the night with the HoH and her deputy.
By popular demand, the fan competition ‘Fave Lock-In’ has returned. The competition which saw viewers become millionaires during the previous season, will give 30 BBNaija fans the chance of winning N1million each when the housemate they ‘Lock-In’ on emerges the winner of the BBNaija Shine Ya Eye season. The competition starts on Thursday, 29th July and will run till Monday, 2nd August, 2021.
