As part of its goal to deepen viewers’ sporting experience, MultiChoice Nigeria has launched SuperPicks, the revolutionary free-to-play predictor app with a weekly jackpot of N50m.

Available to play for free at superpicks.com, SuperPicks gives anyone in Nigeria over the age of 18, the chance to win a weekly jackpot of ₦50,000,000 by correctly predicting the scores of six football fixtures for each weekend. There is also a guaranteed prize of ₦1,000,000 for the player with the closest set of predictions each week – which was won last weekend by a gentleman called Andrew.

The predictor app is accessed via a progressive web application at www.superpicks.com.

SuperPicks is the first major joint initiative between MultiChoice and BetKing, Africa’s fastest growing digital and sports entertainment platform and showcases the potential of the combined capabilities of the two Organisations.

Speaking on the partnership, Chief Executive Officer, MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe said: “We are excited to launch SuperPicks to our audiences in Nigeria. Not only is it fresh and innovative, it’s also in line with our vision of delivering great entertainment experiences. With the growth of the internet, sports betting has continued to grow across Nigeria and the rest of the continent, we are excited to be partnering with BetKing to ensure that we can deliver quality and entertaining content.”

The SuperPicks app combines the passion for sports with the chance to win a life-changing sum of money, every week! Players will be able to use their sports knowledge to make their predictions on forthcoming  fixtures  on their mobile or desktop.

Introducing MVP : To champion the sports fan even further,  MultiChoice Nigeria is also introducing  MVP, (Most Valuable Picks) the all new sports betting TV show that will be aired at 9pm every Thursday on channel 204 . The show,  which is fronted by a star line up including Neil Andrews, Wofai Egu Ewa, Chukwuebuka Okoye, Mozez Praiz Anuoluwapo and Chisom Ezeoke is characterised by banter, loud opinions, strong views,  juicy betting tips and a dedicated superpicks segment each week.

SuperPicks is intuitive and simple – with players able to progress directly from the home page into the game page to make their predictions. Players can predict the outcome of six fixtures within the app by toggling the scores to the outcome they predict, submit the tie-breaker question and then click submit. Once they have made their predictions they will then be taken through the login/registration process. All customers using this product will need to confirm that they are over 18 years of age when registering. SuperPicks will initially feature Premier League games, which will be later supplemented with European or National games.
