…as all housemates are up for possible eviction
Jackie B and Jaypaul have emerged as joint head of house (HoH) for the sixth week of the ongoing Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) ‘Shine Ya Eye’ edition.
The development followed a new twist introduced by Biggie, the instructive voice behind the show, during the HoH game on Monday night.
Although the game still involves the usual throwing of dice, his week’s HoH exercise took a different dimension.
Unlike in the past, this week’s game involved five different stages with each housemate given two-minute and 30 seconds to complete the challenge.
Before the exercise commenced, Biggie had informed the housemates that two winners of the opposite sex will emerge as the week’s joint HoH.
At the end of the exercise, Jaypaul and Jackie B clinched the much-coveted position after they completed the task on time ahead of their colleagues.
Jaypaul finished the exercise at one minute, 17 seconds; while it took Jackie B one minute and 9 seconds to complete the game.
The duo will have access to the HoH lounge for the rest of the week and will also enjoy immunity from this week’s eviction.
As part of the day’s twist, however, Biggie said all the remaining 15 housemates are up for eviction this week — the first time nomination will not be used in the eviction process since this year’s edition of the show started.
The winner of this season’s edition of the show is expected to win a grand prize of N90 million — BBNaija’s highest ever.
