Nigeria’s Women U20 team have qualified for the next round following a withdrawal from
Congo from the qualifiers.
The Super Falconets secured a massive 0-4 away in Brazzaville and thereby qualified to play against Congo for a place to play at the world cup.
The return leg is suppose to come up this weekend at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos but the second has been cancelled.
The Congolese side has communicated their withdrawal to the African soccer governing body.
The consequences of their withdrawal means that Falconets of Nigeria has secured passage to the next round of the qualifier without playing the reverse fixtures.
