It’s the season of love, and everyone is feeling it, especially people who love love.

However, Valentine’s day falls on a Monday this year, and many lovers may find it difficult to enjoy outdoor dates on such a busy day of the week.

Still, that doesn’t have to mean that they can’t enjoy the highly anticipated day indoors.

So, if you are looking to stay home and have a simple movie date with your ‘boo’, these are three romantic movies coming to Showmax this month that you’ll enjoy.

1. No Lost Love:

This romantic drama is a South African film that follows Anahle, a hopeless romantic. When her boyfriend, Dumisani (Lungle Radu), decides to surprise her with a romantic getaway for their first anniversary, she doesn’t realise she’s in for a weird twist. In an unexpected encounter at the getaway resort, she bumps into her ex-boyfriend, Lwazi (Pallance Dlala), on vacation with his new girlfriend, Azania (Zola Nombona). What will happen to the two couples? Will their reconnection cause trouble? Find out when the movie premieres exclusively on Showmax. It will be available on the streaming app from February 14, 2022.

2. Wild Mountain Thyme:

This British-American romantic comedy written by John Patrick Shanley features Emily Blunt, Jamie Dornan, Jon Hamm, and Christopher Walken. The movie is centred around a headstrong farmer, Rosemary Muldoon, who has her heart set on winning her neighbour, Anthony Reily’s love. However, Anthony may have inherited a family curse and remains oblivious to his beautiful admirer. When his father decides to sell their family farm to his American nephew, Anthony is jolted into pursuing his dreams. The movie will premiere on Showmax on Valentine’s day.

3. All My Life:

This romantic movie follows Jennifer Carter and Solomon Chau, a sweet, fun-loving, newly engaged couple who are ready to start their lives together. But when Solomon is diagnosed with terminal liver cancer, their hopes for a summer wedding becomes impossible. With time running out, their friends and families soon devise an inspirational plan to help Jennifer and Solomon realise their dream wedding. If you’re looking for a sweet and heartwarming romantic movie, then this is the film for you. The movie will begin streaming on Showmax from February 10, 2022.
