Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, Rachel Edwards, has advised ladies not to settle for a man who earns N800,000 per month.

In a post on X, Rachel argued that N800,000 is not enough for a wig, hence the reason for her advice.

“As a lady, you cant settle for a man with 800k as salary in lagos. One wig and your man’s salary is finished baby girl,” she wrote.

Her tweet has continued to trigger a wave of arguments on social media.

Rachel became famous after she participated in the seventh edition of the Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) reality TV show in 2022.

She was added to the season, not as a contestant but as a “rider,” an agent of Biggie, the instructive voice behind the show.

Her time on the show was marked by drama, particularly involving in a conflict with Diana, a fellow housemate, over Giddyfia, their love interest.

Giddyfia, who faced eviction before Rachel, said in a post-show interview that he felt responsible for allowing the clash between the ladies to escalate.

“It was actually my business that was causing that wahala,” he said.

“I tried not to pay so much attention to it because I did not want any bad vibes around me at that time, and because I was really pissed at Diana. But if I had told her how I really felt that night, it wouldn’t have escalated.”

Rachel’s journey in BBNaija, however, ended about two days before the season’s grand finale.
