Globacom and its partners have presented cheques of N1m each to new set of winners in the exciting monthly Glo Jolly Win promo. This is apart from the airtime and data rewards received daily by other Glo subscribers who participate in the promo.

Five winners received their cheques at the monthly presentation ceremony in Lagos and were instantly credited with their winnings during the ceremony.

In September 2024, Olieh Somtochukwu, a staff member of a real estate company in Anambra, become the first winner of the sum of N1 million naira in the promo.

Globacom is running the promo in conjunction with NCC-licensed Nitroswitch, an aggregator company, and Tetragrammaton, as the value-added service provider for these services.

One of the winners, Mrs. Adebayo Idowu, would have been presented her cheque at the first promo draw in September but for her doubt. Despite several calls, including video calls, she was hesitant to believe she had won a million.

Mrs. Adebayo, a recently retired school teacher, later realized that she had indeed won a million naira and was present to receive her prize at the event that held last week. She was effusive in her praise of Globacom for the promo which brought the N1 million prize her way.

Other winners include Sanni Ganiu Bayo, a Lagos-based printer, Abdul Mumuni Oseni, a corporate driver, Abiodun Oluwasanmi Temitayo, a mechanical engineer and Ashimiu Aminat Idowu, a teacher.

Speaking about the rewarding promo, Mojeed Aluko of VAS Department, Globacom, said that “the Glo Jolly Win is a lottery service in which subscribers can answer trivia questions or spin a wheel to win loads of airtime, data and cash prizes for as low as N100/day, with no need for downloads or any storage usage on their phones. Subscribers can select their preferred services from the options of Jolly Trivia, Wheel, Win & Life to join in the fun and excitement of the lottery with the potential to become millionaires”.

To be part of the lottery draw, Globacom subscribers can dial *20152# or, in the alternative, send JWD to 20152 on their Glo lines.
